While the season is still in the early stages, the Hackett Hornets and Lady Hornets are reaching mid-season form. Two Hornets and one Lady Hornet are carrying a 158 average or above. Even with only three girls, all three of these Lady Hornets are focused on qualifying for State in February. Brenna McCartney, Emily Goforth and Tristian Anderson are averaging 10 pins more now than what they finished with last season. Against Northside, Anderson had a two team high of 176 while Goforth brought consistency with a 136 and 135. Brenna McCartney had a personal best 127.

In boys’ action, the Hornets won all 13 points to defeat the Grizzlies. Hunter Fuller led Hackett with a 203, followed by Ian Bellisario’s 163, and Garrett Wilson with a 161. After the Christmas Break, Hackett will take on Greenwood and Alma.
