Dear Editor,

I wanted to take this opportunity to publicly thank once again the Greenwood first responders (fire, police and EMS) for their selfless dedication. Two hot summers ago, they saved my house during the wildfires. This week they saved my life. I was in a motor vehicle accident on North Main when I swerved to miss a deer while driving. I am forever indebted to all of the Greenwood first responders. I would like to especially thank Dr. Lee Johnson, Stewart Bryan, Rod Powell and Randy Davis. My entire family thanks them for going above the call of duty. I feel very blessed to live in such a great community.

I also want to extend a big thank you from the bottom of my heart to the two good Samaritans who stopped to help me. They saved my life during this accident by willing to stop and help a stranger. I do not know who you are but I thank you for my life. I would love to know whose these two very kind people are so that I can thank them personally not only publicly.
