OZARK — John Paul Woolsey, 91, of Ozark died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, in Ozark. He was born Oct. 17, 1926, in Ozark. He was a retired teacher, former superintendent of Altus Schools, a farmer, a member of American Short Horned Cattle Association and American Soybean Association and the widower of Madge Woolsey.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Ozark with burial at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark.
He is survived by two sons, Mark and John Woolsey, both of Ozark; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kerry King, Hansel Yerta, Jack James, Ricky Foster, Roy Schirmer and Kent James.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
