Danny “Joe” Webb, 77 of Greenwood Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Health South Rehab Hospital in Fort Smith Arkansas. He was an active member of the United Methodist Church and a member of the Now and Then Sunday School Class in Greenwood Arkansas. He retired after spending a life time working on the Circle L Ranch, followed by sales of Veterinary and Poultry Medicine. He was currently working at Air Care Systems by Price as a new construction installer and mentor to all the staff who loved him so.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillard and Nealie Webb and one brother, Floyd Webb. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Sondra Webb of the home; four daughters, Sondra Price and husband, David of Greenwood Arkansas, Susan Gollinger and husband, Jerry of Flippin Arkansas, Sara Halsted and husband, Mark of Harrison Arkansas and Stephanie Bowers and husband, Lantie of Greenwood Arkansas; grandchildren, Amy Dorsey and husband, Lee, Ashley Turner and husband, James, Tyler Cherry and fiancé, Mandy Carriger, Stacy Gollinger, Kyle Halsted and fiancé, Lillie Velasquez, Will Halsted, Rachel Gollinger, Maegan Cherry and fiancé, Andrew Hawthorne , Garrett Carriger and wife, Katy, Baylee Carriger, Maranda Carriger, Kyle and Cristal Bowers and Logan Bowers; great grandchildren, Cauy Dorsey, Dane Turner, Brighton Dorsey, Dax Turner, Cord Dorsey, Zakk and Zander Halsted, Leia Velasquez, Derek Bowers; a brother, Walter “ Wimpy” Webb and his wife, Ilene; sister in law, Vickie Webb and several nephews and nieces as well as a town of close friends.
Pallbearers were, David Price, Jerry Gollinger, Mark Halsted, Lantie Bowers, Tyler Cherry, Kyle Halsted, Will Halsted, Fred Webb, Ray Webb, Kalon Tuck and Cauy Dorsey.
Honorary pallbearers were the members of the Now and Then Sunday School Class as well as special friends, Tommy and Sue Basham, Ruel and Donna Holland, Deana, Leah, Lucas and Jon David Hefflin.
The celebration of life service was at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Greenwood United Methodist Church under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing was on Friday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., where the family received visitors from 5 – 7 p.m.
