The UAFS athletics department will celebrate the official start of basketball preseason practice with its annual Moonlight Madness at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Stubblefield Center.

It will be held in conjunction with the UAFS volleyball team’s nonconference match against East Central University, which will begin at 6 p.m. at the Stubblefield Center.

During Moonlight Madness, fans will get an early glimpse of this year’s Lions and Lady Lions basketball teams as they compete in intrasquad scrimmages as well as skills competitions such as a 3-point shootout and slam dunk contest.

Fans will also have the opportunity to meet and greet players and coaches after the event.

Admission to Moonlight Madness is free.
