Little Rock, AR: Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas is looking for an Executive Director. The position of Executive Director replaces the former C.E.O position as it more accurately describes the duties required by the organization.
“We are excited about the opportunity to find a leader who can build on the existing success of the organization” said Eddie Martin, Habitat Board President.
“Lee Bass who has worked for Habitat as a volunteer for six years as part of the Construction Team and a member of The Board Of Directors for four years is serving as our interim Executive Director. He has a lifetime of experience in team building, communication, and wonderful leadership ability. Lee was a natural choice for the interim and we are thrilled with his ability to seamlessly take on the daily responsibilities until a long-term replacement can be found.” said Martin.
Martin added, “The official search for the new Executive Director is in full swing. With the number of new homes being built, the revitalization projects completed, the recent addition of the Cabot ReStore location, and the continued success of the Little Rock and North Little Rock ReStore locations; this is a great opportunity for a person with business expertise to take over the reigns of a highly successful non-profit.”
Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas is a locally funded affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, which is a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles seeking to put God’s love into action by building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
