The Sebastian County Library in Greenwood started its "Every Hero Has a Story" summer reading program. The kids were treated to a story time on June 2nd. Mrs. Karen Baker reads to the children from "Girl Power". Baker is also the pre-school teacher at the First Baptist Church and has been working at the library during the summer for more than 25 years. The kids really relate to her and her former students are now bringing their own children to her story hours. The Greenwood Library is located at 18 N. Adair next to the Pizza Barn. The library is open on Mondays from 9am - 7:30; Tuesday through Fridays from 9am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 9am to 12 noon. Due to limited space pre-registration is required to participate in these special events.
