Fritsche selected by Arkansas Alumni Association as one of the top 22 graduating students, based on academics, leadership and involvement.

Daniel Fritsche, from Greenwood, was named to the 2016 Class of Razorback Classics by the Arkansas Alumni Association.

He is the son of Ken and Debbie Fritsche.

Fritsche is a senior honors industrial engineering major in the College of Engineering. He served as vice president of external affairs for Lambda Chi Alpha, was a member of the New Heights Church College Leadership Team, received a John L. Imhoff Global Studies endowment and was part of an exchange program at the University of Newcastle in Australia.

The Razorback Classics are the top 11 male and 11 female graduating students at the U of A, and represents the pinnacle of Arkansas Alumni Association student awards. More than 500 students were nominated. The students are judged on the basis of their academic excellence, leadership and campus or community involvement.

Fritsche will be recognized at the Cardinal and White Banquet on Thursday, May 5 in Boyer Hall of the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House.
