Having played in the so-called Week Zero, the Magazine Rattlers opted for their open date last Friday.

Rattler head coach Doug Powell and his staff will be looking to address problems that have led to an 0-2 start for the Rattlers before they return to action this Friday at Cutter Morning Star.

Magazine is coming off a blowout loss in which they allowed over 400 yards of offense to Mount Ida, who has reached the Class 2A state championship game in each of the last two seasons, winning the title in 2016.

Cutter Morning Star comes into Friday’s game against Magazine with a record of 1-1. The Eagles lost 28-22 to Bismarck in Week Zero, was off in Week 1 and last Friday beat Rose Bud, 46-12.
