Mac Moody drove in five runs with four hits, including three doubles, as the Fort Smith Sportsman routed Hillcrest, 17-4, at the Bartlesville Tournament.

Fort Smith (18-6) rebounded from Thursday's 8-2 loss to Springfield Kickapoo by scoring nine runs in the first inning. Ben Klutts had a pair of run-scoring singles in the big first inning, and Moody had two hits as well, including a three-run double.

Moody, who raised his summer league batting average to to .493, added a two-run double in the fourth. Moody leads the Sportsman with 11 doubles, 25 RBIs and 27 runs scored.

Brock Thibodeaux and Jake Melton had two hits for the Sportsman. 

Ryan Horn went four innings for his fifth victory of the summer without a loss.
