Era Walker was born on July 14, 1914 to Edward and Lula (Thompson) Stockton of Greenwood, Arkansas. She went to her eternal home on July 10, 2017. She was a librarian, worked at the polls and a member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Edward and Clarence; her sister, Daisy (Mrs. John Rupp); her husband, Roy (Chili) Adrian Walker and an infant grandson, Roy Leon Walker, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Roy Leon Walker and wife, Betty Ann Walker; her daughter, Sherry Willhite and husband, Tom Willhite; four grandsons, Tommy Willhite and wife, Archella, Kelly Willhite and wife, Lisa, Brian and Royce Walker; five great grandchildren, Alicia, Zac and wife, Rachel and Andrew Willhite, Summer Nelson and husband, Will and Grant Walker; three step great granddaughters, Becky, Micah and Mariah; three great great granddaughters, Haven, Laiklynn and Aspyn and many many other loved ones and friends.

Her celebration of life was at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 15 at the Greenwood United Methodist Church. She was viewed at the Greenwood United Methodist Church Sanctuary from 2 – 8 p.m. Friday, where the family will visited with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.

Pallbearers were her grandsons and great grandsons.
