A new children’s storytime will begin Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at the Sebastian County Library at the Greenwood Branch at 18 N. Adair Street Greenwood, Ark. Beginning on Wednesday, November 6th and every Wednesday in November, at 10 a.m., "Read, Sing, Move Storytime" will be presented to young children, three years of age and younger, and their parents and caregivers.

This enhanced storytime is a language enrichment program that involves stories, songs, fingerplays, and dance and movement to help very young children develop early literacy skills in order to be successful in learning to read in the future. These storytimes will also share tips to parents and caregivers on how they can help children develop early literacy skills in their daily interaction with their children.

The program will be approximately 20 minutes in length. Registration is required due to space limitations. Interested persons may call the library at 479-996-2856 or visit the library at 18 N. Adair Street in Greenwood to sign up for storytime or for more information.
