Three students from Mansfield High School’s EAST Classroom attended the 24th Annual National Service-Learning Conference last month in Denver, Colo. Mansfield High School EAST, along with nine other schools from around the country, were chosen this year as leader schools for their Project Ignition campaigns. All leader schools were given a grant to attend the conference. Along with an interactive booth, Mansfield High School students presented a workshop titled “Positive Peer Pressure-Saving Lives on the Road”.

Project Ignition is a peer to peer safe driving campaign that reaches out to teens regarding safe driving on the road. Mansfield High School EAST has been involved with Project Ignition for the past seven years.
