Greenwood High School senior, Kameron Brewer, is the 2013 recipient of the Harley and Elsie Sublett Scholarship. The $1000 scholarship is presented each year to the graduating senior entering the field of education with the highest grade point average. GHS graduate Roger Sublett established the scholarship with the Greenwood Education Foundation in memory of his parents who were educators. Brewer is the daughter of Kelly and Mike Brewer and was presented the scholarship by GHS counselor, JoLynn Dixon. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith and major in elementary education. While attending GHS Brewer was a member of the Lady Bulldog Volleyball and Softball Teams, the GHS Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Partners Club, Honor Roll student and active member of the Dayton Church of Christ Youth.
