The science department at Greenwood High School recently awarded the CB Smith Science scholarship for $500 to senior, Jordan Spencer. The selection is based on the student’s academic achievement in honors science courses. The scholarship is awarded in memory of CB Smith who served as superintendent of Greenwood Public Schools from 1924-1951.

Jordan is the daughter of Bret and Holly Spencer. She will graduate with an Honors Diploma and plans on attending Oklahoma Baptist University to major in pre-medicine.

"Jordan is a gifted and talented student who has an awesome attitude and a tireless work ethic that truly makes her a rare high school student." stated Allen McDonald, Science Department Chair.
