The Rotary Club of Greenwood helped cook and serve a BBQ dinner with all the trimmings at the Salvation Army Red Shield Diner, Tuesday, March 26th evening. "It is rare for them to get BBQ here, so they are really excited when they do," explains Frank Durham, a Rotary member. Pink Flamingo donated 33 pounds of BBQ meat and Walmart in Greenwood supplied the buns. The remaining meal was cooked and prepared by the individual Rotary members. They served to approximately 70 people in need of a meal. This is their third time to volunteer at the Diner. Because this was so near and dear to the members hearts, they decided in March of last year to cook and serve every 6 months.
