A Greenwood man accused of inappropriately touching a minor male relative pleaded not guilty to second-degree sexual assault Wednesday in Sebastian County Circuit Court.
Nathan L. Robinson, 18, was assigned a public defender and his bail was set at $10,000.
Greenwood police began investigating Robinson in April after the boy’s teacher reported he told her that Robinson touched him and exposed himself, according to a police report.
The boy then repeated the allegations to a forensic interviewer at Hamilton House, according to the report.
Robinson denied the allegations when police interviewed him, but the interview ended after police told Robinson he failed a voice stress test and Robinson requested an attorney, according to the report.
Second-degree sexual assault is a Class B felony punishable by five to 20 years in prison.
