Girls Inc. of Fort Smith (formerly Fort Smith Girls Club) is excited to celebrate 80 years of serving Fort Smith and the surrounding communities in 2014. Our 80 year history has touched many people and we want to hear from you! A committee has been formed to help search for past members, volunteers, coaches, parents and anyone who has been a part of Girls Inc. throughout its history. A celebration/reunion is also being planned so we want to make sure to gather contact information to send invitations and include everyone who wants to be involved. To learn more and/or to give us your updated information you can visit our website at www.girlsincfortsmith.org and click on the Campaigns tab, find us on Facebook under Friends of Girls Inc. or email us at friends@girlsincfortsmith.org.

Girls Inc. hopes to hear from you soon. You can also get more involved with the organization by becoming an official member of their newly formed support arm to help ensure that Girls Inc. will be around for another 80 years and beyond. Friends of Girls Inc. helps support their mission of inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold. Through fundraising, friend-raising, volunteerism and advocacy, the group will help sustain the development and growth of Girls Inc.’s after-school, outreach and summer program initiatives that enrich the lives of young girls in and around our community. Your membership shows your commitment to the success of local girls by providing unique learning opportunities and thoughtfully designed programming that helps them identify and meet their goals. Friends of Girls Inc. has various membership levels and benefits designed to meet the needs of anyone who wants to help support and/or give back to a great organization.
