Marvin Riggs is the new owner of the Eastside Wrecker Service. He and his son Austin will be running the business together. Riggs moved his family to Greenwood about fourteen years ago after retiring from his job at Walmart. They found Greenwood to be the perfect place to raise a family. Austin Riggs played football for Greenwood High School and joined the service after he graduated high school. He was soon deployed to the Iraq war. Shortly after returning, his dad bought the business to share with him.

The business will be known as Riggs Eastside Wrecker and Body Shop. Certified mechanic, Jeff Miller, has the auto repair shop on the south side of the complex and will continue to offer quality auto repair service to the community. The establishment has taken on a new look with some expansions, parking lot re-design, paint booth updates and installation of new water lines. They plan to offer something new to the community, along with all the services one could always find at Eastside Wrecker. They have purchased new towing equipment and made the paint booth a modern fit for today’s customers. Riggs stated that they have started to offer stencil camo designing for boats and trucks. There are plans in the works for future expansion of the business. Riggs wants to invite the community over to see the new look of the business and have a cup of coffee with them. They will be glad to explain their services to the community. The Riggs family truly has the community at heart stating that the customer will always come first and the maximum satisfaction of the customer is what they will always strive for.
