Saturday night’s Spaghetti Benefit Dinner and Auction fundraiser to help alleviate the cost of Homer Johnson’s upcoming Cancer surgery was a tremendous success. With nearly 200 people attending and Looper Auction Service assisting with the auction, nearly $5,000 was raised. The people of Greenwood helped prove once again why this truly is "A Great Place to Live." Johnson was pleasantly surprised with the event. "I didn’t even know about it until I saw it in the paper," he said. "Thank you all so much for this."
