The Bulldog Diner changed owners on May 15, 2013 and added a little something to its name. Boo Polk is now the proud owner of the former Bulldog Diner and Boo’s Bulldog Diner signage will soon replace the hand painted bulldog in the diner’s front window.

When asked her thought on the former Bulldog Diner, Polk stated, "It’s down home cooking and it’s a great place to come in." Polk intends to keep the original menu and much of the original theme. She has plans for updates to the Greenwood Championship wall and intends to add a wall to honor troops who served in the military as well as an Arkansas Razorback wall.

Boo’s Bulldog Diner is still open Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., but has also added Sundays. They will now serve three lunch specials and the regular burger menu from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.

Polk wanted to thank her family for their support and stated, "Thank you to all my customers, their support has been so overwhelming. The positive feedback is what has made be realize I made the right decision."
