West installed as State Scribe for the International Order of DeMolay

Christian West, of Conway was proudly installed as the State Scribe for the International Order of DeMolay in Arkansas on August 11th at The Vines Center in Little Rock. West is a member of Westwood Chapter Order of DeMolay and a proud Conway Wampus Cat Football player #38.

DeMolay is a premier youth leadership organization which focuses on building young men of character and is dedicated to helping youth become future leaders in our communities.

West will be serving alongside of the new slate of state officers, who were elected and installed at the annual Arkansas DeMolay Conclave held in August. Tilman McClendon of Alma will be serving as State Master Councilor, the head of Arkansas DeMolay for the ensuing centennial year. Second in line is State Senior Councilor, Miles Jennings from El Dorado, AR, a member of Phoenix Chapter. Third in line is State Junior Councilor, River Byrne from Rison, AR, a member of SEARK Chapter. Leading the state spiritually is State Chaplain, Zachary Rushin from Westwood Chapter in Little Rock, AR.

DeMolay teaches young men fundamental life and professional skills, business acumen and community service. DeMolays take part in a wide range of activities, from athletic competitions, to public speaking tournaments, to community service events.
