A tip on a stolen motorcycle led to multiple arrests on Tuesday in Van Buren.

Van Buren police arrested eight people on Tuesday on suspicion of multiple theft, drug and firearms offenses. Some of the suspects arrested are also facing charges in connection to a home invasion robbery in Fort Smith, according to a Van Buren Police Department news release.

According to the release, the tip was given to police on Tuesday afternoon in reference to a stolen 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle that was inside a Van Buren residence. Police were able to gather enough evidence from the tip to issue a search warrant in the 300 block of North 21st Street.

The Van Buren SWAT team executed the search warrant on the residence. During the search, police stopped a vehicle leaving the residence occupied by four suspects believed to be involved in the robbery in Fort Smith, the release states.

Police also recovered several stolen items during the execution of the warrant, including four stolen motorcycles, the release states.

"We appreciate Van Buren's effort in this case," Cpl. Anthony Rice with the Fort Smith Police Department said.

The suspects arrested during the execution of the search warrant are:

• Charlotte Yvette Gier, 39, of Uniontown on suspicion of felony fraudulent use of a credit or debit card, theft by receiving and misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit or debit card.

• Victor Sean Bottorff, 26, of Hot Springs on suspicion of felony possession of a firearm by certain persons, theft by receiving and misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit or debit card.

• Joshua Glenn Barrett, 34, of Van Buren on suspicion of felony theft by receiving, possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia for use of methamphetamine and possession of meth or cocaine with intent to deliver.

• Ashley Renee Bruce, 27, of Van Buren on suspicion of felony theft by receiving, possession of drug paraphernalia for use of meth, possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of meth or cocaine with intent to deliver.

• Marcus Jackie Sharp, 27, of Cedarville on suspicion of felony theft by receiving.

• Christopher Dillon Rogers, 25, of Van Buren on suspicion of felony possession of drug paraphernalia for use of meth and possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to deliver.

• Russell Moseley, 31, of Greenbrier on suspicion of felony theft by receiving, possession of drug paraphernalia for use of meth, possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of meth or cocaine with intent to deliver.

• Devon Charles Ford, 24, of Van Buren on suspicion of felony theft by receiving, possession of drug paraphernalia for use of meth, possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of meth or cocaine with intent to deliver.

All eight suspects remained in the Crawford County Detention Center in lieu of no bond on Wednesday, the release states.
