Jerry D. Gandy has been promoted to the rank of sergeant first class in the U.S. Army.


Gandy is currently serving as technical patriot inspector with 35Th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Osan Air Base, . He has served in the military for 10 years.


Gandy is the son of Susan Hodges of Greenwood, Alaska.


He is a 2005 graduate of Greenwood High School, Greenwood, Alaska.


Sgt. 1st Class Jerry D. Gandy, a technical Patriot inspector for 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, was promoted by his wife, Sgt. 1st Class Amanda Gandy, with their son in tow, Everett-James, Feb. 1, 2018 at Osan Air Base, South Korea. Sgt. 1st Class Jerry Gandy is part of the support operations team for the brigade and helps ensure the Patriot missile defense fleet across the Korean Peninsula is well maintained.
