Malvern Gann has been a paramedic for 24 years. Gann took an EMT course with his friend at Arkansas Tech in Ozark and found that it interested him and that he enjoyed helping people. After getting his basic license Malvern went to work for Franklin County EMS where he worked for over three years, then to Conway to work for three years and then flew with Air Evac for the next 11 years before back trouble forced him to join a traditional EMS service. Gann has worked at Sebastian County EMS for the last four years.

“I enjoy what I do,” said Gann. “I like being able to help folks. You see people at their worst and you just try to make a difference.”

Malvern has been married to his wife Leta for the last 23 years. The Ganns have three children and just had their first grandchild.
