Jessalyn Ellen Halsted and William Alexander Gossett were married May 20, 2017 at 10 am in the historic chapel of St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable in Fayetteville, AR officiated by Dr. Tom Harris of Hartford First Baptist Church.

Parents of the bride are Darrell and Barbara Halsted of Harrison, Grandmother Chleora Bell of Tilly, AR and the late Columbus Bell Late Jesse and Ruby Halsted of Marshall, AR. Parents of groom are Eddie and Judy Gossett of Booneville, AR Bill and Adrienne Miles of Greenwood, AR. Grandparents are Ray Gossett and the late Virgie Gossett, the late Aaron and Betty Fildes of Hartford, AR.

Given in marriage by her father, Jessalyn was preceded down the aisle by her nieces Amelia and Elise Halsted as flower girls. Dr. Ross Halsted, brother of the bride, offered a prayer of blessing. Immediate family and close friends witnessed the ceremony then shared lunch with the newly-weds at their residence in Rogers, AR.

Jessalyn and Alex both attended University of Ozarks at Clarksville, AR where they met as freshmen and graduated with Bachelor Degrees in 2008.

Dr. Halsted graduated from Southern College Optometry in Memphis TN in 2012 and is an optometrist for McDonald Eye Associates at Village on the Creeks in Rogers, AR

Alex Gossett is an ordained Baptist minister and graduated May 2017 with a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.

The couple will reside in Rogers, AR.
