Greenwood, AR, April 24, 2017 — The Bolin Stewart Memorial Scholarship was recently awarded to Greenwood seniors Rebecca Burrows and Austin Collins. The foundation was started seven years ago in memory of Bolin Stewart who taught school for over 30 years. He taught at Hackett and retired as principal at Coal Hill High School. Bolin loved kids and wanted them to succeed in life and have the opportunity to further their education and so the scholarship was established by his friends and family to be awarded to deserving students to help fund their college education.
