Bryan Groda has been an EMT since 2004. He started working for Fort Smith EMS as an EMT and dispatcher before earning his paramedic license from Arkansas Tech in Ozark in 2009. “It seemed like an interesting career,” said Groda. “I enjoy helping people and it is different every day which keeps things exciting.”

Bryan made the move from Fort Smith to Sebastian County EMS in 2012. “I have really loved working here,” said Groda. “We have made Greenwood our home and working here is more family oriented than some other places.”

Bryan lives in Greenwood with his wife Lacey, who is a nurse manager at Sparks and his daughters Katelyn and Lyncoln. Groda also serves on the Greenwood City Fire Department and attends school full time pursuing an Emergency Management degree.
