ASUMH Spring Registration
Coming Up Jan. 10-13 Registration for Arkansas State University - Mountain Home (ASUMH) is coming up for the spring semester. Spring registration will be January 10-13. Spring classes begin January 17. Tuesday, January 10, admissions and financial aid offices will be open until 7:00 p.m. to offer extended registration hours. Adult Education Classes
Franklin, Johnson and Logan counties are registering new students January 9th & 10th for the spring semester. Classes are completely FREE and start on January 17th. Start the New Year off right by returning to school to complete your GED or prepare for a new job. We have centers in Booneville, Charleston, Clarksville, Ozark and Paris. Amelia’s Gift 5k Run
This event will be held at Shadow Lake in Greenwood, AR on January 21st. The run will begin at 10:00AM. The fee is $20 for early bird registration or $25 on the day of the race. 100% of the proceeds will benefit children at the Grace School in Uganda! Crystal Bridges offering new programs
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, 600 Museum Way in Bentonville, is kicking off a new program for 2017 called Member Scoop. Members of the museum will have access to special programing and tours as well as discounted prices for a number of special events. Crystal Bridges will also host an intimate concert and conversation with members of the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas at 8 p.m. Jan. 27. Cost for the evening is $50 per person, $40 for members. Call (479) 657-2335 to register or for information.

Art Book Club: “An Island Garden” at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 18.
Tween Night dance party at 7 p.m. Jan. 21 is open to all middle and junior high school students.
Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores
Opening of a new Jo-Ann store in Fort Smith, AR on February 2, 2017. Grand Opening celebrations are scheduled to take place on that Thursday through February 4, 2017. To support the store opening, a job fair will be held on December 6th and 7th at the Arkansas Work Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. The address is 616 Garrison Ave Forth Smith, AR 72901.
