Crime Watch 8-10
John-James Loyd, 28, of Van Buren was arrested on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine (A Class C Felony). Loyd was arrested during a traffic stop on the 300 Block of West Denver. According to the police report K-9 Kina indicated that there were drugs in the car. After a search a small plastic baggie that contained a white crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine was found.
Trevor Thompson, 21, of Greenwood was arrested on Grand Magnolia on a charge of Possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia after his car was pulled over for not having a license plate. According to the police report there was a warrant for Thompson, he was arrested and while his vehicle was being searched a pipe and a green leafy substance was found. Thompson was taken to the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center.
Melissa Quick, 48, of Booneville was arrested on a charge of DWI at the 1200 block of West Center. Quick was found passed out in her vehicle in a parking lot. Officers woke her up and gave her a sobriety test, which she failed.
Dalton Richardson, 21, of Pocola Oklahoma was arrested on a charge of drug possession on Hwy. 10 Spur. Richardson was pulled over for a defective license plate light. During the stop Dalton stated that he had marijuana on him. Richardson was then taken to SCADC.
Lonnie Whitehead, 46, was arrested on a charge of drug possession after a minor car accident. According to a police report Whitehead passed a sobriety test and consented to a search when a small bag with a green leafy substance was found along with several pills believed to be Hydrocodone and some believed to be Alprazolam.
Keith Jackson, 19, of Fort Smith, Andrew Wise, 19 of La Habra California and Vietnam Le, 19, of Moore Oklahoma were all fingerprinted and cited for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop for speeding on North Main.
Joshua Gramlich, 29 and Heidi Boesch of Lafayette Louisiana were arrested on a charge of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for no tail light. The K-9 Kina indicated that there were drugs in the vehicle. 12.6 grams of a green leafy substance were located along with a grinder and glass smoking pipes.
