Case and Morse Unite in Marriage
The marriage of Christopher Chase Case of Greenwood, Arkansas, son of Michele Phillips of Washburn, and Stuart Phillips of Greenwood and Michelle Jeanetta Morse daughter of Charles “Chip” and Elizabeth “Liz” Morse all of Beaverton, Oregon took place on July 25, 2015 at Ainsworth House in Oregon City, Oregon.
Pastor Brian Heerwagen officiated. Music was provided by Nate Botsford. Shellie was escorted and given in marriage by her father, Charles “Chip” Morse. During the ceremony the bride and groom performed a sand ceremony which symbolized the uniting of their two families as one. The bride and groom wrote their own vows which they recited. Wedding colors were red and turquoise. Maid of honor was Robin Bernard, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Emily Phillips, sister of the groom, Denise King and Tayrn Eager, friends of the bride. Bestman, Andrew Deel and groomsmen Jake Horton, Caleb Prescott, Ray Asis are friends and brothers-in-arms of the groom. A reception was conducted in the reception hall of Ainsworth House with sisters of the bride assisting.
The bride is a graduate of Aloha High School in Beaverton and George Fox University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. The groom is a 2009 graduate of Greenwood High School and a Specialist in the U.S. Army working as a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter mechanic. They reside at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State.
The Phillips-Case family would like to invite friends and family to a reception-luncheon to celebrate the lasting commitment of these two special people on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Washburn Church of Christ fellowship hall. Gift cards to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Walmart, Olive Garden, or Appleby’s are humbly requested as gift choices for Christopher and Shellie as they will be traveling by airplane back to Washington State.
