Thursday May 1st at 12 noon will be the National Day of Prayer at the Greenwood Courthouse.

This is a time when all the churches can come together and pray for our city, our state and our nation. Many pastor’s will be involved along with the color guard from the high school under the direction of Col. Posey. The color guard will present the flags. There will also be special music.

If there was ever a time that our country needs prayer., it is now. It is not the Republicans or the Democrats or the president that can change our nation but rather it is God’s people who are called to pray.

I urge you to join us for this very special day. This event will take place rain or shine. Sincerely

Rev. John D. Miller National Day of Prayer Coordinator
